The Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program (TTCSP) of the University of Pennsylvania has released the “Global Go to Think Tank Index Report” (11th edition) with Brookings, IFRI and Carnegie as leading think tanks worldwide.
ISPI ranks 1st worldwide as the “Think Tank to Watch” in 2018 and has further strengthened its position as the 1st Italian Think Tank in the broader categories of the ranking. In particular, the Institute has climbed 74 positions over the last 3 years among the “Top Think Tanks Worldwide (US and non-US)”, reached the 40th position in the category “Top Think Tanks Worldwide (non-US)” and the 17th position in “Top Think Tanks in Western Europe” (climbing 12 positions from last year).
ISPI ranks high worldwide also in the "special" categories. Together with its top position as the “Think Tank to Watch” in 2018, the 3rd edition of “Rome MED” Conference ranks 2nd among the best Conferences worldwide, after the “Shangri-La Dialogue” and preceding IFRI and the Munich Security Conference. The Institute also ranks 2nd in Italy in the categories “Top Defense and National Security” and “Top Foreign Policy and International Affairs”. In addition, Ispi ranks 3rd worldwide – after Brookings and Atlantic Council – as the Think Tank with the best collaboration with other think tanks, and 4th in the category “Best Managed Think Tank” after Fundação Getulio Vargas, Bruegel and Brookings.
